Join us for a beautiful stay in the Blue Mountains.

Glenella is a rare gem located within Blackheath, one of the more attractive villages in the upper Blue Mountains.  Glenella has operated as a guesthouse for more than 100 years and today respects the history of the building while providing modern comforts.
We know that your stay enveloped in the ambience of our charming heritage guesthouse
will leave you with warm feelings and a renewed appreciation of the joys of sharing and spending time in a historic building.

An old world escape from our hurried modern lives.

More Info

The Glenella Guesthouse property is a listed heritage building located in the Blue Mountains, within a minute’s walking distance of all the cafe’s, galleries and shops in central Blackheath.

Guests can choose to stay in one of our private, charming upstairs guestrooms with en-suite bathrooms, or to stay downstairs in the boutique hostel-style accommodation. These downstairs rooms have a shared bathroom, kitchen facilities and their own guest lounge. If this is not enough, we also have one more option to stay in our SportsBunkhouse which comprises a dorm-room suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, and also used by Camino walkers as the ‘Glenella Albergue’.

Free WiFi is available throughout the guesthouse.

With such a superb location there is easy access to many viewpoints, other local attractions, plus a host of outdoor adventure activities –  including bushwalking, rock climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, trail running, and much more..

NOTE. We endeavour to provide a relaxed environment for our guests to enjoy the unique Blue Mountains Guesthouse experience. For this reason we do not cater for young children and babies.
